Upcoming Event with A Face to Reframe on May 19th

A message from founder Beth Bruno:

Dear friends,

You know I like photography. But most of you know that when it comes to the camera, my real passion is empowering the vulnerable and marginalized to share their perspective on the issues that affect them. A couple of years ago, I founded a non-profit that does just that- A Face to Reframe. We partner with community organizations working with a stigmatized population and facilitate photography projects. Thus far, our focus has been disabled youth in Turkey and youth living on the street vulnerable to human trafficking. This summer, we have the opportunity to work with the Northern Colorado AIDS Project with youth in a high-risk lifestyle and those living with AIDS.

I would like to invite you to a unique morning of hearing more, learning some photography yourself, and enjoying brunch. Please see the attached invitation and RSVP (we may need to find a bigger space). If you are interested in learning more and unable to come, let me direct you to our www.afacetoreframe.org. There are many ways to contribute to our work, which you can also learn on the site.
Hope to see you there,
Beth
